The Circus Hub is the largest circus school in NZ based in Newtown, Wellington. We offer circus classes to hundreds of people of all ages in which we teach a wide variety of skills including aerial skills (silks, trapeze, hoop), acrobatics, contortion, juggling, hand balancing, and more.
We are currently developing a programme to upskill our current team of trainers. This programme will include various theoretical workshops to equip them with new tools to support our students’ progression. We are looking for someone to work with us to develop and deliver workshops in biomechanics and exercise physiology, based around our team’s needs.
The role would involve:
– observing some classes and meeting with some of our trainers,
– providing advice and professional opinion on upskilling needs,
– designing and deliver a (or a series) or workshops.
This is a great opportunity to work with an extremely passionate team of trainers and to learn more about the world of contemporary circus.
