There has been an emerging incidence of people commencing gender affirming treatments from <18 years old in Australia whilst there is also limited access to or understanding of gender diverse and inclusive health care facilities which can lead to delayed access to appropriate interventions such as exercise to manage potential side-effects of puberty suppressant treatments. This webinar aims to increase clinician knowledge and confidence in providing exercise related treatments and education to children, adolescents commencing or thinking about commencing this treatment, alongside providing education to their parents to assist them in supporting their children meet physical activity guidelines and tailored strategies to manage potential future issues later in adulthood.
